It’s closer, stylistically, to other popular series today like Teen Titans Go!and Adventure time, many of which Thundercats fans weren’t thrilled with his first introduction. While the opening made by fans of Booths is extremely detailed and hyper-realistic, the much-maligned ThunderCats Roaropted for a simplistic, relatively cartoonish look. Many praise him in response to the more polarizing and criticized animation style of ThunderCats Roar. Although the CGI Thundercats The movie never came to fruition, the Booths render today offers a hint of what it might have looked like, and fans love it. Transformers in 2007, and GI Joe: The Rise of the Cobra in 2009. It entered development at the same time that other ’80s cartoon properties were finding new life in theatrical releases.

In 2007, a full CGI feature film for felines was announced. The last remaining survivors escape their doomed world and find refuge on another alien planet called Third Earth. Thundercats is the action-adventure tale of anthropomorphic human-cats from a dying planet named Thundera. In addition to various comic adaptations of the franchise, Thundercats have since found a new TV resurgence in more modern incarnations, first with the more anime-inspired reboot of Thundercats in 2011, then, more recently, ThunderCats Roarin 2020, both on Cartoon Network.
The 80s Thundercats comic book was created by Ted Tobin Wolf and aired in syndication from 1985 to 1989. The Thundercats the opening was recreated with 3D CGI showing how weird the TV show was.
